HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

Since many of the students who will find our Services most useful will be minors under the age of 18 years (or the applicable age of majority), it is the parents or other legal guardians of such dependent minors who wish to allow their child, as an individual student, to access and use our Services, who must be at least 18 years of age (or the applicable age of majority); create a user account; and grant their child access to and use of our Services, including the Education Platform.

User accounts created by parents and other legal guardians are to be maintained by the applicable parent or legal guardian, and the parent or legal guardian agrees to monitor their child’s usage, including the any disclosures of personal information.

NOTE TO PARENTS AND LEGAL GUARDIANS: By allowing your child access to your user account, you also give that child permission to access all of the features and functions of our Services, including all of the features and functions of the Education Platform.

As described above, we do not knowingly solicit personal information from or market our Services to minors under the age of 18 years (or the applicable age of majority).

By using our Services, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age, you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such child’s use of our Services, or you are minor and you have been granted permission by your parent or legal guardian to access and use our Services using a user account created by that parent or legal guardian.

Upon your request to terminate your account, we will deactivate or delete your account and personal information from our active databases, subject to the limitations associated with data sets used to test and train AI products, services, and models described above.

Further, some personal information may be retained in our files to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce our Terms of Service, and/or comply with legal requirements.

DO OUR SERVICES RESPOND TO DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES OR SETTINGS?

In short: No, not until a uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) features or settings have been adopted.

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a DNT feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online Browse activities monitored and collected.

No uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized.

As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online.
